Maria Liddy is an Irish artist based in Belfast.
After a decade working across the UK & Ireland as a Graphic Designer, in 2020 she returned to Belfast and set up her own business. In the last year, she decided to prioritise her love for painting.

Maria is predominantly a palette knife painter who works in oils and acrylics. Her work is influenced by her personal interests such as hiking and running. Her recent work is a celebration of the spirit of community and the energy of working together towards a common goal.

Her abstract pieces, inspired by the beauty of the landscape are loose and open to interpretation. She employs vibrant, saturated colors to create striking visual contrasts and depth to her paintings.
